When a client’s insurance allows, some clients may be appropriate to receive services via telehealth. The BCBA on the case will assess and determine if virtual telehealth services are appropriate and if so, adjust the ISP accordingly and inform the insurance company. Generally virtual/telehealth sessions are a temporary service and returning to face to face is encouraged as soon as possible. Telehealth is conducted through an online platform such as zoom and the client is required to attend the Tech’s session powerpoint/activity planned. Generally FACT keeps telehealth sessions to 1.5hrs depending on the client’s attention span.
